  • Day 1: Arrival in Paro, transfer to Thimphu
    • Arrive at Paro International Airport.
    • Drive to Thimphu (approx. 1 hour).
    • In the evening, visit Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the government and monastic body.

 

  • Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
    • Visit the National Memorial Chorten and Changangkha Lhakhang.
    • Visit the Folk Heritage Museum and the National Library.
    • Explore the traditional architecture of Thimphu.

 

  • Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha
    • Drive to Punakha (3 hours).
    • Visit Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful dzongs in Bhutan.
    • Visit Chimi Lhakhang (the fertility temple).

 

  • Day 4: Punakha to Phobjikha valley
    • Drive to Gangtey (2.5 hours).
    • Visit Gangtey Monastery, a significant Nyingma monastery.
    • Explore the architecture of traditional houses in the Phobjikha Valley.
    • Evening hike in the valley to see traditional farmhouses.

 

  • Day 5: Phobjikha valley to Paro.
    • Drive back to Paro (5 hours).
    • Visit the National Museum of Bhutan and Paro Rinpung Dzong.

 

  • Day 6: Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest
    • Early hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest).
    • Enjoy breathtaking views and explore the monastery.
    • Return to Paro and relax at the hotel.

 

  • Day 7: Paro to Bumthang
    • Early breakfast and flight to Bumthang (if available) or drive (approx. 10 hours).
    • Visit Jakar Dzong and explore local architecture.

 

  • Day 8: Bumthang Sightseeing
    • Visit Kurjey Lhakhang, Jambay Lhakhang, and Tamshing Lhakhang.
    • Explore traditional Bhutanese architecture in Bumthang.

       

  • Day 9: Bumthang to Paro
    • Early breakfast and return to Paro (flight or drive).
    • Last-minute shopping and exploration in Paro.
    • Farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant.

  • Day 10: Departure from Paro

    • Transfer to Paro Interntaional airport for departure
