DETAILS

Bhutan is a year-round destination, with March, April, May, September, October, and November being particularly favored months. During these times, the skies are usually clear, offering stunning views of the high mountain peaks set against a vivid blue sky.

Winter months—December, January, and February—are characterized by bright, sunny days, though nights and early mornings can be quite cold, with temperatures often dropping below freezing. Despite the chilly nights, winter is still an excellent time for cultural tours, thanks to the clear skies and sunny days.

The monsoon usually arrives in late June and lasts till August. Light to heavy rain expected mainly in the late evenings and nights. Though monsoon months are not appropriate for trekking but recommendable for cultural tours when the hills and valleys are lush green with comfortable temperatures.
